To help provide updated encryption to customers, many browsers such as Google® Chrome™ browser, Firefox®, Microsoft® Edge® and Internet Explorer, and Safari® have announced plans to discontinue support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) versions 1.0 and 1.1.
Beginning January 2020, major browsers will start to enforce encryption levels at TLS 1.2 or above.
Infor understands the impact of this change and has determined that subscription customers running Infor CloudSuite™ CRM version 8.2 or higher should support TLS 1.2 browser communications, and Infor does not expect any impact accessing the Infor CloudSuite solution. Support for TLS 1.2 communications was implemented for Infor subscription customers running versions 8.1 and earlier.
Description:
There is significant movement throughout the world to phase out insecure transport layer protocols and cipher suites. Past attacks like Logjam and Heartbleed have rendered protocols below TLS 1.2 incapable of providing the transport security for which they were originally designed. Major browser vendors have reached the same conclusion and are enforcing TLS 1.2 communications in upcoming browser releases:

Depending on your browser and browser version, there may be an impact to custom integrations or extensions. We recommend you allow sufficient time to test these customizations prior to TLS 1.2 enforcement.
