What might otherwise be a mundane activity for a shipbuilder, sometimes things just do not go as planned. During the launch of the 90-meter-long TASMAN at a shipyard in Hoogezand (Netherlands) an employee of the company nearly gets crushed by the ship. While the yard was open for the public and dozens of people watched the launch, he tried to remove a rope when the ship was already sliding sideways towards the water.
