Commonly, the first words that comes to mind when someone mentions military aviation is precision, preparedness, vigilance and powerful. When a military aircraft flies overhead, it’s difficult not to stop and admire the might of the plane and the amount training and preparation that the airman puts in to piloting the craft but sometimes things just do not go as planned. Recently, a captain of an F-18 was rehearsing an airshow routine very low to the ground when his plane hit some unexpected turbulence and he was forced to eject just 4 seconds before the jet fighter hit the ground and burst in to flames.
